ERICO was founded in 1903 as the Electric Railway Improvement Company. Originally, the company specialized in rail bondings for the railway network and the mining industry. Today, ERICO is a diversified trading company based in Solon, USA with a workforce of approximately 1400 people.

ERICO provides worldwide production and sales activities in two business sectors - fixing systems and electro-engineering.

Because of its diverse range of products, ERICO is able to provide solutions in all major fields, e.g. industry, railways, construction, development, electro-engineering, the assembly and installation of electro-systems and for the area of sanitation, heating and air-conditioning.
