Comparability
The foremost aim of the Gütegemeinschaft Rohrbefestigung is to allow the performance and quality of pipe fixing systems made by different manufacturers to be objectively compared with one another. This is done by defining a standard assessment process to ascertain the technical data of pipe fixing systems.
Furthermore, in future, members of the RAL Gütegemeinschaft Rohrbefestigung will be using the same names for their technical specifications when describing the technical data of quality-assured products in their technical documents and sales literature.
This will result in a level of transparency in the market which will directly benefit the customer.
Quality
"Certified quality" is another item which is high on our list of priorities. Each and every product series must prove its performance qualities in an initial test before a quality mark can be awarded. Afterwards, regular tests then ensure that the quality and performance of the quality-assured products are maintained. Our members' own control systems are supplemented by neutral and independent external quality controls carried out by internationally recognized testing centres such as the MPA-NRW (a material testing institute in North-Rhine Westphalia) and the KIWA (a Dutch certifiying organization).
Advisory service
In accordance with our quality and test specifications, all those who use our quality mark are obliged to offer their customers an advisory service - an obligation they are only too pleased to fulfil. The association itself as an independent and neutral point of contact is at your service should you have questions about pipe fixing systems.

Reliability and trust
The Gütegemeinschaft strictly monitors the use of the quality mark imposing severe punishments for any case of misuse. External controls conducted by neutral test centres serve to protect the users of the quality mark just as much as the specifications concerning the disclosure of the technical data of products and contributes to creating a justifiable confidence in a neutral quality mark.
Innovation
The Gütegemeinschaft Rohrbefestigung considers its job to be more than just assuring the quality of products. It sees itself as a guarantor for innovation and special performance efficiency and so ensuring that quality and test specifications are consistently in line with future progress in engineering.
All of these activities contribute to creating the level of safety and security required by our customers with respect to the planning, designing, and use of quality-assured products.
